Mission IS Possible

On Friday 31st August Mount Annan Christian College will be holding their annual 'Missions Day'.

Missions Day raises money for various missions the schools support. It is also a fun day for the school community.

Students are encouraged to dress up in mufti clothes for a donation of $2.
The theme for the mufti will be M. The class have already thought of some things starting with 'M' that they could dress up as, including a marshmallow, a mermaid, themselves (me) and even a marsupial!

Missions day officially starts at 11:35 with a Thanksgiving service.

After the service, there will be a variety of stalls and activities for the students to enjoy and we welcome any parents and friends to stay for an extended lunch and enjoy the afternoon with the students.

There will even be a car wash! Call the office on 46347474 to book in your car for a cost of $10 or 4WD for $15.

A note has been sent home giving details of the stalls and costs. If you need another note sent home, please ask either one of us or see Student Admin.

Impressive News Presentation!

Cooper impressed our class today by doing a PowerPoint presentation about his favourite Olympic event!! It is wonderful to see students putting in so much effort for their news!

Information Reports

I have been super impressed by how clever you are 2F! Today we began researching and writing an information report about an animal that we find interesting. We chose a factual book to help us with our research and have had to read the book carefully to find the information we want to include in our report.

Getting New Ideas

This morning our classroom had all the tables and chairs pushed to the side. Our class are working together to come up with some good ideas on the best way to use our space and make our classroom an exciting place to learn. We looked at the way 3B, 4T/4S and 1H have set up their classrooms to get some good ideas. Then everyone drew up a plan and discussed it with a small group. Now we are going to work together to choose the best way to set up our classroom and hopefully you will see 2F with an innovative use of our classroom space in the next few days!
